Mr. Murat Uygun graduated from Dokuz Eylül University (Izmir, Turkey) Faculty of Law in 1998. Following a two-year traineeship, he was appointed as a sitting judge in 2001. From 2004 to 2011, he served as a rapporteur judge at the Ministry of Justice, Directorate General of Legislation.

In 2010, he pursued a Master of Advanced Studies in Terrorism and Organized Crime at the University of Geneva. From 2011 to 2014, he was appointed as a jurist at the Council of Europe, Department for the Execution of ECHR Judgments.

Since 2016, he has been practicing as a legal advisor in the private sector and joined Eldib & Co. in 2021. With 15 years of experience as a sitting and rapporteur judge across various courts and government institutions, he brings extensive expertise in Corporate & Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law, Data Protection Law, Information Technology Law, and Criminal Law.
