Chinese-Speaking Business Support Coordinator

Position Overview:

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Chinese-Speaking Business Support Coordinator to join our Cairo office. The successful candidate will support international client engagements, provide high-quality translation and coordination services, and assist in business development initiatives. This position reports directly to the Business Development Manager based in China and indirectly to a Partner in Egypt.

 

 

Working Hours:

 

 

  • Operates according to Shanghai local time
  • Weekends: Saturday & Sunday
  • Friday: Work-from-home (WFH)
  • Holidays: Follows public holidays in Egypt

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Client Coordination: Facilitate daily coordination and communication for client deals and ongoing matters.

 

  • Translation Support: Attend meetings with fee earners and provide real-time interpretation (Chinese-English/Arabic and vice versa).

 

  • Marketing Assistance: Contribute to the preparation and translation of marketing materials, presentations, and client-facing content.

 

  • Translation Tasks: Translate documents, emails, and internal communications as assigned by the Business Development Manager or fee earners.

 

  • Market Monitoring: Track relevant commercial news, key company updates, and sector trends impacting our clients.

 

  • Administrative Support: Provide business support and coordination assistance as needed by fee earners or the management team.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory.

 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Languages, Law, or related fields.

 

  • Experience: Previous experience in translation, business support, or coordination roles is a strong advantage.
