Role Overview


Eldib & Co is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trademark Office Administrative Representative to support our Intellectual Property practice in preparing and managing trademark filings, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements, and maintaining accurate records with the Egyptian Trademark Office (TMO). This role is vital to maintaining the integrity of our clients’ trademark portfolios and supporting our legal team with efficient administrative processes.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Prepare and file trademark applications and related documents with the Trademark Office (TMO).
  • Monitor the status of trademark applications and ensure timely responses to deadlines, office actions, and renewals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to collect required documentation and information for filings.
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of all trademark files, including digital databases and physical filing systems.
  • Generate regular reports on trademark portfolios, renewal timelines, and enforcement actions.
  • Respond to inquiries from the Trademark Office and ensure all procedural requirements are met.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, brand protection, and IP teams to ensure consistent trademark use and compliance.
  • Keep abreast of updates in trademark regulations and suggest process enhancements to maintain compliance.
  • Assist in other legal administrative tasks such as document drafting, formatting, and internal reporting.

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a trademark administrative or paralegal role.
  • Sound understanding of trademark law and IP fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with TMO procedures and trademark prosecution lifecycle.
  • Skilled in using trademark management software and legal databases.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Moderate written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office tools.
