Yassmin Elshahed is a Junior Associate in the Commercial Department at Eldib & Co. She holds a Bachelor of Law from Cairo University and an LLM from the University of East London, where she focused on corporate governance, comparative law and international law.

Before joining the firm, Yassmin trained in the corporate departments of leading Egyptian law firms, working on due diligence, transaction documents and commercial agreements. Earlier in her career she held governance and compliance roles at Fawry and Vodafone Egypt.

Her background across civil and common law traditions, together with her time in industry, gives her a practical understanding of commercial transactions, governance and regulatory compliance.
