Effective April 4, 2024, the Iraqi Trademark Office has implemented new regulations for trademark registration procedures. According to the new regulations, filing & publication fee must be paid at filing stage.
Additionally, it’s now mandatory to submit a certified copy of the trademark registration certificate or any foreign equivalent for trademark applications covering the goods (Pharmaceutical and veterinary preparations and sanitary preparations for medical purposes)under class 5.
This document must be legalized up to the Iraqi Consulate.
